Endemic

[ Holotype: LACM; ♂ 8.04 km NW San Ignacio, Mulegé, Baja California Sur, Mexico; October 11, 1972]

Centris fisheri is another endemic species of the BCP. This species had been recorded in the Sarcocaulescent Shrubland in September 1981 and the Gulf Coast by the INHS (iDigBio 2023). We reviewed the holotype collected in the Vizcaíno Desert in October 1972 ( LACM). The CARCIB team extended the known distribution to BC by collecting it in July 2017 from Valle de los Cirios in the Central Desert. See fig. 88.
