Diadasia (Coquillettapis) nitidifrons Cockerell, 1905 View in CoL

[ Holotype: CASC; ♂ Banning , Riverside Co., California, USA]

This species is only known from the southwestern USA and BC. In BC, it has only been recorded in the Coastal Sage Matorral. INHS has one male specimen collected in Arroyo Rosarito in July 1964. Additionally, the BBPT collected 15 males near Ensenada City in May and June 2020, April 2021, and May 2022. Voucher specimens are in MABC (8 ♂), and ECOAB (7 ♂). See fig. 95 .
