Endemic

[ Holotype: CASC; ♀ San José Island , Baja California Sur; May 28, 1921]

Ayala et al. (1996) report Centris vanduzeei in BC and BCS; however, we have neither collected nor found historical records of this species in BC. In BCS, this species has been reported in the Gulf Coast, and Sacrocauluscent Shrubland regions with preserved specimens in the INHS and CASC ( Cockerell 1923; GBIF 2023). The BBPT collected two males in the Magdalena Plains in BCS in March 2021 (1 ♂ MABC; 1 ♂ ECOAB). See fig. 90.
