Anthophora flavocincta View in CoL is primarily distributed in the CFP across California, USA, and BC, Mexico. It is a pollen specialist on plants in the family Boraginaceae ( Orr et al. 2018) View in CoL . In BC this species has been documented in the Coastal Sage Matorral in Ensenada in August 1934, and Succulent Coastal Matorral in San Quintin Bay in May 1988 with specimens vouchered in the UCRC ( Orr et al. 2018).
