Habropoda depressa is a new species record for Mexico and the BCP, although undetermined specimens had been preserved in the MABC collection since 2016. The BBPT collected 28 specimens (16 ♀, 12 ♂) across the Coastal Sage Matorral and the Chaparral in April and May 2023 ( MABC). See fig. 81 .
