[ Syntype: UCMC; ♀ Train Station , Maricopa, Arizona, USA; February 15, 1907]

The distribution of this species spans throughout Arizona, California, and Nevada, USA, and extends into BC, Mexico. Within BC, it has solely been observed within the Succulent Coastal Matorral in El Rosario in 1935 ( Timberlake 1951). See fig. 80 .
