Hylaeus wootoni is distributed from southwestern Canada to northern Mexico. In the BCP, this species has been previously recorded in the Baja California Mountains in Sierra San Pedro Mártir in June 1953 ( UCRC). The BBPT collected five males near the border with the USA: one in the Chaparral and four in the Baja California Mountains in Sierra Juarez in May 2022 ( MABC). See fig. 165.
