Halictus tripartitus is a common native species in North America. Within the BCP, has been collected in every ecoregion of the CFP. The ECOAB team collected four females in the Baja California Mountains in July 2013. Additionally, the BBPT collected 142 specimens (141 ♀, 1 ♂) in Coastal Sage Matorral, Chaparral and Succulent Coastal Matorral (Supplementary material 1). Voucher specimens are in MABC, and ECOAB.
