Halictus farinosus occurs in western USA and BC, Mexico and is particularly abundant in the CFP. We reviewed one female collected in June 1976 in Chaparral 3.8 mi S. Tecate vouchered in CASC. The ECOAB team collected one female in July 2013 in the Baja California Mountains in Sierra Juarez.Additionally , during this study, the BBPT collected 20 specimens (13 ♀, 7 ♂) in Coastal Sage Matorral, and 13 specimens (12 ♀, 1 ♂) in Chaparral in May 2022, and September 2022 (Supplementary material 1). Voucher specimens are in MABC, and ECOAB. See fig. 170 .
