Ceratina (Ceratinula) arizonensis Cockerell, 1898 View in CoL
[ not found; ♂ Phoenix, Arizona; 12 May 1897; Ceratina arizonensis vanduzeei Cockerell, 1924 Holotype: CASC; ♀ Guaymas , Sonora, Mexico; April 10, 1921]
This species is distributed throughout the southwestern USA and northern Mexico. Although Ayala et al. (1996) recorded this species in BC, we could not find any previous records before this study. The CARCIB team collected one specimen in the Magdalena Plains in May 2019. Additionally, the BBPT collected this species in the Chaparral of BC in September 2020 (3 ♀, 3 ♂); and the Gulf Coast of BCS in March 2021 (5 ♂, 3 ♀; MABC). See fig. 150 .
