Neolarra penicula occurs from Wyoming, USA to BCS, Mexico. Nonetheless, this species has limited records. It has been recorded only once within the BCP in La Giganta Ranges in 1994. The specimen is vouchered at the INHS ( GBIF 2023). See fig. 141.
