[ Holotype: ANSP; ♂ Oregon, USA]

This species is commonly found in California, USA, and BC, Mexico. We examined two females collected in the Succulent Coastal Sage in Rio San Rafael near Ejido Bonfil in June 1986 ( SDNHM), one female south of Ensenada City in July 1977, and one male in the Succulent Coastal Matorral in May 1963 ( CASC). Additionally, the BBPT collected N. suavis in the Coastal Sage Matorral in Ensenada City in August 2019 (2 ♂), Guadalupe Valley in June–September 2020 (2 ♂); Chaparral in Real del Castillo, Ojos Negros in October 2020 (1 ♀); and in the Baja California Mountains in La Rumorosa in May 2022 (1 ♂). Voucher specimens are in MABC. See fig. 148 .
