Oreopasites (Oreopasites) collegarum Rozen, 1992

Endemic

[ Holotype: AMNH; ♀ 57 km southeast Guerrero Negro 135 mts elev., Baja California Sur, Mexico; 8 Sep 1977] Oreopasites collegarum is an endemic species to the BCP ( Rozen 1992). It was previously known to occur only in the Vizcaíno Desert of BCS, but our visits to museums to examine undetermined material has expanded the known range. We examined 15 paratypes, 14 (10 ♂, 3♀) from the Vizcaíno Desert collected at the same sampling event as holotype and one female collected in Rancho Guadalupe, 24 mi. NW San Ignacio in September 1983 ( LACM). Additionally , we examined a female collected in the Central Desert, BC in March 2014 ( CNIN). See fig. 127 .
