[ Holotype: CASC; ♂ Andreas Canyon , near Palm Springs, California, USA; April 24, 1932]

This species inhabits xeric ecoregions of southwestern USA and northwestern Mexico. We reviewed one female collected in June 1952 in Ensenada , Baja California ( CASC) .
