[ Holotype: AMNH; ♀ Southwestern Research Station ( SWRS), 8.05 km W Portal, 1,646 mts, Cochise Co., Arizona; August 2, 1956]

This species is known only from the southwestern USA and BCS, Mexico ( Ascher & Pickering 2024). In BCS, it has been recorded in the Gulf Coast and Sarcocaulescent Shrubland ecoregions ( Rightmyer, 2008). See fig. 132.
