Megachile (Chelostomoides) angelarum Cockerell, 1902 View in CoL

[ Type: ♀ Southern California, USA; 1893]

Megachile angelarum occurs from southwestern Canada to BC, Mexico. Within BC, it has been previously recorded in the Coastal Sage Matorral and in the Baja California Mountains in Sierra Juarez with preserved specimen records at AMNH and SDNHM ( GBIF 2023 View Materials ). The ECOAB team collected 14 specimens (11 ♀, 3 ♂) in the Baja California Mountains in Sierra Juarez. The MABC team collected this species in Sierra San Pedro Mártir in July 2017 (4 ♂, 1 ♀) . Additionally , the BBPT August 2020 (1 ♀) , and May 2022 (1 ♂). Voucher specimens are in MABC (3 ♂, 1 ♀) , and ECOAB (2 ♂, 1 ♀) . See fig. 219 .
