Megachile nevadensis specializes on pollen from late-blooming plants in the family Asteraceae including Chrysothamnus Nutt. , Gutierrezia Lag. , and Helianthus L. ( Fowler 2020). This species represents a new record for Mexico. The BBPT collected one male in September 2022 in the Chaparral near Ensenada City (MABC). See fig. 226.
