Stelis (Dolichostelis) rudbeckiarum Cockerell, 1904 View in CoL

[ Holotype: USNM; ♂ Santa Fe , New Mexico, USA]

This species inhabits the xeric regions of the southern USA and northern Mexico. Within the BCP, it has been collected on the islands of the Gulf Coast region and in the Sarcocaulescent Shrubland with preserved specimen records by ASUHIC ( GBIF 2023) and BBSL. We reviewed two additional males collected in the Sarcocaulescent Shrubland in August 1982 (BBSL). See fig. 206.
