Dianthidium subparvum View in CoL occurs from southwestern Canada to BC, Mexico ( Grigarick & Stange 1968; Ayala et al. 1996). This species specializes on pollen from a broad range of plant genera in the family Asteraceae ( Fowler 2020) View in CoL . We reviewed two males collected in the Baja California Mountains in Sierra San Pedro Mártir in June 1953 and Sierra Juarez in June 1980 (SDNHM). See fig. 205.
