Dioxys pacificus occurs in the western USA and BC , Mexico. We examined three specimens collected in Chaparral in May 1981 (2 ♀), May 1982 (1 ♀; SDNHM), and June 1983 (1 ♂); and Central Desert in April 1985 (1 ♂; BBSL). The BBPT collected two males in the Central Desert in March 2021 ( MABC). See fig. 212 .
