Endemic
[ Holotype: ♂ 64 km west of San Ignacio , Baja California Sur, Mexico; February 23, 1974]
Dufourea neoscintilla is only known from the Vizcaíno Desert, BCS. The holotype, allotype, and nine paratypes are from 64 km west of San Ignacio (Bohart 1980). See fig. 190 .
