[ Holotype: CASC; ♂ San Bernardino Mountains, 1,158 mts elev., California, USA; May 15, 1937] This species is known from the southwestern USA, as well as BC, Mexico. Within BC, it has been reported in the Chaparral ecoregion in June 1973, May 1980 ( BBSL), and June 1983 ( SDNHM) ( GBIF 2023 View Materials ). See fig. 198 .
