[ Holotype: UNSM; ♀ Sioux county , Nebraska, USA]

The distributional range of A. clypeodentatum spans from western Canada to northwestern Mexico. This species collect pollen from a broad range of plant genera in the family Fabaceae ( Gonzalez & Griswold 2013; Fowler 2020). Within the BCP, it has only been recorded in northern BC. The SDNHM houses one specimen collected in BC’s Chaparral in June 1983 ( GBIF 2023). Additionally, the BBPT collected this species in the Baja California Mountains at La Rumorosa in 2022 (1 ♀, 2 ♂). Voucher specimens are in MABC, and ECOAB. See fig. 195.
