[ Syntype: ♀ Phoenix , Arizona, USA; May 12, 1897]

This species inhabits the southwestern USA and BC, Mexico. The BBPT collected 51 specimens in several localities of the Lower Colorado Desert in June 2019 (35 ♀), March 2020 (9 ♀), and May (1 ♀), April (5 ♀), and June (1 ♀) 2021 ( MABC). See fig. 177 .
