[ Holotype: USNM; ♂ Santa Clara Co., California, USA]

This species occurs in California, USA and BC, Mexico. Gerald Stage and Roy Snelling examined one specimen collected in the Coastal Sage Matorral 7.5 mi. south Santo Tomás in May 1975 (personal communication with John Ascher). Additionally, the BBPT collected it in BC in the Coastal Sage Matorral in June 2022 (1 ♀), and the Chaparral in May 2022 (3 ♀, 1 ♂). See fig. 270 .
