Osmia coloradensis View in CoL is broadly distributed throughout North America and specializes on a broad range of plant genera in the family Asteraceae ( Fowler 2020) View in CoL . This species is abundant in BC, where it was previously recorded in the Succulent Coastal Matorral by LACM and Central Desert by BBSL. The BBPT expanded its known habitats by collecting this species in the Coastal Sage Matorral in May (2 ♀), and June 2020 (2 ♀), and April 2022 (3 ♀), Chaparral in May 2022 (2 ♀), and Central Desert in March 2021 (1 ♀). Voucher specimens are in MABC, and ECOAB. See fig. 257.
