Osmia marginipennis View in CoL specializes on pollen from Balsamorhiza Nutt. View in CoL , Layia Hook. & Arn. ex DC. View in CoL , and Chaenactis DC. View in CoL in the family Asteraceae ( Fowler 2020) View in CoL . Within the BCP, this species was collected in the Baja California Mountains in Sierra San Pedro Mártir in June 1958 (EMEC).
