Osmia (Melanosmia) laeta Sandhouse, 1924 View in CoL

[ Holotype: CASC; ♀ Blue Lakes , Lake Co., California, USA; May 16, 1922]

This species is one of the few Osmia species reported by Ayala et al. (1996) in BC. It was collected by the SDNHM in Sierra Juarez in June 1983 ( GBIF, 2023). Additionally, the BBPT collected this species in the Coastal Sage Matorral in June 2020 (1 ♀), and May 2022 (1 ♀). Voucher specimens are in MABC, and ECOAB. See fig. 262.
