Ashmeadiella (Isosmia) rubrella (Michener, 1949) View in CoL

[ Holotype: AMNH; ♀ Dryden , Terrell Co., Texas, USA; March 27, 1946]

This species occurs in northern Mexico and the southwestern USA and specializes on pollen from Dalea L., Prosopis L., and Psorothamnus Rydb. ( Fowler 2020) . Hurd & Michener (1955) reported this species in the Magdalena Plains. Additionally, BBSL recorded this species in the Lower Colorado Desert in 1982 and Vizcaíno Desert in 1976. See fig. 244.
