[ Holotype: CASC; ♂ Guaymas , Sonora, Mexico; April 10, 1921]

Within the BCP, this species has been previously recorded in the Lower Colorado Desert by SEMC ( GBIF 2023 About SEMC ), Gulf Coast , and Sarcocaulescent Shrubland by BBSL. The BBPT collected two females in the transition zone between the Lower Colorado Desert and the Baja California Mountains near the border with the USA in May 2022 ( MABC). See fig. 240 .
