[ Holotype: CASC; ♀ Inyo County, California, USA; May 1, 1938]

Ashmeadiella leachi occurs in the deserts of southwestern USA and BC, Mexico. Within the BCP, this species has only been recorded in the Lower Colorado Desert in April 1960 by BBSL. See fig. 236 .
