Distribution: Palearctic. Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Russia (European part), Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine.
Larval host plant(s): Carex montana L. ( Cyperaceae ) ( Stainton 1858a; Martini 1916; Steuer 1978).
