Type:— Neotype is designated here because no specimen used for the original description by Ito & Homma
(1938) has been found; II, III on Carex sadoensis Franch. , Japan, Aomori Prefecture, Hirosaki-shi, HHUF1535,
[MBT 10021414]. Desscription:—See Hiratsuka et al. (1992). Hosts and distribution in Japan:— II, III on Carex sadoensis Franch. (Hok, Hon) ( Ito & Homma 1938, Ito 1950,
Hiratsuka 1960, Hiratsuka et al. 1992). Notes:—This species has been reported only from type locality, Hokkaido, Japan.
