Type:— Holotype in YAM; II, III on Carex brunnea Thunb. Japan, Hiroshima Prefecture, Takada-gun, Yoshida-cho , 8 January 1960, Y. Moromoto.
Description:—See Morimoto (1972) and Hiratsuka et al. (1992).
Hosts and distribution:— II, III on Carex brunnea Thunb. (Hon) ( Morimoto 1972, Hiratsuka et al. 1992).
Notes:—Uredinial and telial stages have been recorded only from type locality, Hiroshima Prefecture.
