Type:— Lectotype is selected from specimens in SAPA, used for original description by Ito & Homma (1938) and designated here; III on Carex conica Boott var. conica , Japan, Hokkaido, Okushiri, Nagahama, 20 May 1935, M. Tatewaki, SAPA24003, [MBT10021338]. Description:—See Hiratsuka et al. (1992). Hosts and distribution in Japan:— II, III on Carex conica Boott var. conica (= C. okushiriensis Akiyama ) (Hok) ( Ito 1950, Hiratsuka 1960, Hiratsuka et al. 1992). Notes:—This species has been recorded from Taiwan ( Kuo & Chen 1999).
