Type:— Holotype in YAM; II, III on Carex heterolepis Bunge , Japan, Hiroshima Prefecture, Takada-gun, Yoshida-cho, 15 August 1959, Y. Morimoto. Description:—See Morimoto (1972) and Hiratsuka et al. (1992). Hosts and distribution in Japan:— II, III on Carex heterolepis Bunge (Hon) ( Morimoto 1972, Hiratsuka et al. 1992). Notes:—Uredinial and telial stages have been recorded only from type locality, Hiroshima Prefecture.
