November 1925, N. Hiratsuka. Description:—See Hiratsuka et al. (1992). Hosts and distribution in Japan:— III on Cyperus orthostachyus Franch. & Sav. [= C. truncatus var. orthostachyus
(Franch. & Sav.) C.B. Clarke] (Hok) ( Ito 1950, Hiratsuka 1960, Hiratsuka et al. 1992). Notes:—This species has been recorded only from type locality, Hokkaido.
