Type:— Holotype in HH (94424). Isotypes in BPI (007013), DOAM (79322), MIN (322630), NY (46170) and S (F34639). Description:—See Hiratsuka et al. (1992). Hosts and distribution in Japan:— II, III on Scirpus fuirenoides Maxim. (Hon), S. wichurae Boeck. var. wichurae [= S. cyperinus var. wichurai (Boeck.) Makino ] (Hon, Kyu), S. wichurae var. concolor (Maxim.) Ohwi (Hon) ( Hiratsuka 1960, Hiratsuka et al. 1992). Notes:—This species has been reported from China and Russian Far East ( Tai 1979, Azbukina 2005, Zhuang et al. 2005).
