Type:— Holotype has not been designated, but many syntypes and related specimens have been deposited in BPI,

DOA, NY and S. Description:—See Hiratsuka et al. (1992). Hosts and distribution in Japan:— II, III on Cyperus rotundus L. (Oki) ( Ito 1950, Hiratsuka 1960, Hiratsuka et al.

1992). Notes:—This species is widely distributed in tropical and subtropical areas of Southeast Asia including China and

Taiwan ( Tai 1979, Hiratsuka & Chen 1991, Zhuang et al. 1998).
