Type:—Location of the holotype specimen has not been found. Isotypes have been deposited in MIN (322671),
NY (37068) and S (F186230). Description:—See Hiratsuka et al. (1992). Hosts and distribution in Japan:— II, III on Carex miyabei Franch. [= C. fedia var. miyabei (Franch.) T. Koyama ,
C. wallichiaua var. miyabei (Franch.) Kük. ] (Hok), C. rhyrtchophysa C.A. Mey. [= C. laevirostris (Fr.) Blytt & Fr. ]
(Hon), C. vesicaria L. (Hon) ( Ito 1950, Hiratsuka 1960, Hiratsuka et al. 1992). Notes:—This species is widely distributed in the world including China and Russian Far East ( Zhuang et al. 1998,
Azbukina 2005).
