Type:— Holotype in TSH (R0405).
Description:—See Kakishima & Sato (1983a) and Hiratsuka et al. (1992).
Hosts and distribution in Japan:—0, I on Circaea erubescens Fr. & Sav. (Hon); II, III on Carex humilis var. nana (H. Lév. & Vaniot) Ohwi (= C. nanella Ohwi ) (Hon), C. foliosissima F. Schmidt var. foliosissima (Hon) ( Kakishima & Sato 1983a, Hiratsuka et al. 1992).
Notes:—Life cycle of this species was proved by Kakishima & Sato (1983a). The species has been recorded from Korea ( Ono 2019).
