Type:— Holotype was not designated in the original description by Sydow & Sydow (1913), but syntypes and related specimens have been deposited in BPI (844474) and S (F28833-28835, 29271). Description:—See Hiratsuka et al. (1992). Hosts and distribution in Japan:— II, III on Carex miyabei Franch. [= C. fedia var. miyabei (Franch.) T. Koyama , C. wallichiana var. miyabei (Franch.) Kük. ] (Hok, Hon) ( Hiratsuka 1960, Hiratsuka et al. 1992). Notes:—This species has been reported from China ( Tai 1979, Zhuang et al. 1998).
