25. Conicera denticulata sp. nov. ( Figs. 21A–E View FIGURES 21 )
Description. Male. Body length 1.2 mm. Frons dark brown. Supra-antennal setae present. Lower fronto-orbital setae absent. Lower interfrontal setae shorter than upper interfrontal setae and the distance between each other equaled to that between upper interfrontal setae. First flagellomere yellowish brown, with dense fine setulae, 0.19 mm long, with an aspect ratio of 2.2:1; arista 0.23 mm long, 1.20 times as long as that of first flagellomere. Palpus yellowish brown, with 6 short setae apically.
Thorax dark brown. Mid and hind legs brown, fore leg yellowish brown. Fore tibia with 8 small near-dorsal setulae, the uppermost being longer than the rest. Mid femur without sense-organ. Wing length 1.11 mm. Costal index 0.40, costal ratio 2.08:1, costal setulae length 0.04 mm. Rs with basisetula. Veins brown, except A 1 +CuA 2 whitish gray. Membrane light yellow. Halter brown.
Abdominal tergites dark brown. Terminalia ( Fig. 21A View FIGURES 21 ) brown. Left surstylus ( Figs. 21B, D View FIGURES 21 ) V-form, with 7 blunt inner teeth on dorsal edge, and with a basidorsal process, on which 4 blunt inner teeth present. Right surstylus ( Figs. 21C, E View FIGURES 21 ) slightly semicircular, with 9 blunt and thick inner teeth and with long (0.60mm), finger-like basidorsal process.
Female. Unknown.
Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin word denticulatus (toothed), indicating the character of basidorsal process of left surstylus.
Specimens examined. Holotype, ♂, Zhejiang, Lingyin Temple, 4-Aug-2005, Hong Fang , Wei Zhu.
Distribution. China (Zhejiang).
Remarks. This species is similar to C. obtusidentis sp. nov., it differs from the latter in having inner teeth on basidorsal process of left surstylus and lacking lower fronto-orbital setae.
