Descriptive notes. Head-body 98-5-122 mm, tail 71-5—-100 mm, ear 14-19 mm, hindfoot 20-25-5 mm. No specific data are available for body weight. The Kotosh Grass Mouse is a medium-sized species of Akodon . It 1s uniform dark olive brown, with no countershading between dorsum and venter; ventral hairs have dark bases; and tail is unicolored.
Habitat. Andean forests at elevations above 2400 m.
