A genus with seven species recorded for Angola ( Ferreira 1965, Insectoid.info 2017). Its representatives are all within Metagonum Jeannel, 1948 in Lorenz (2005) . However, this genus was synonimized with Orthotrichus ( Anichtchenko 2016) .
