Specimens examined: Holotype: ♀. Tillicera Ihleri, Corporaal, 1949 , ZMAN type COLE.1798.1, J. B. Corporaal: Type: Holotype: Tillicera Ihlei 1948, 1938 vend., H. Lucht, Java, K. O. Blawan, 900/1500 Mr., Idjen Plateau ( ZMAN) .
Others: Java, J. D. Pasteur 1899 (2 ex., MNHN) ; F.C. Drescher, G. Tangkoeban Prahoe, 4000–5000 Voet, Preanger, Java, 11.1937 (1 ex., ZMAN) ; same data: 11.1934 (1 ex., RGCM) .
Length: 6–7mm (5 specimens).
Collecting period: November.
Head: Black, glossy, anterior part of clypeus, labrum and palpi brown, posterior part of clypeus brown to black; distributed with fine and dense punctation; cranium vested with erect, pale setae; head including eyes slightly broader than anterior width of pronotum.
Antennae: Dark brown to black, A1 to A3 or A4 light brown, vested with depressed, brown setae; antennomeres triangularly dilated from A5 onwards, A10 broader than long.
Pronotum: Surface anterior to transverse depression black, remainder brown, glossy; surface finely, diffusely and irregularly punctate; vested with anteriorly directed erect, pale and dark, setae; length:width ratio 1.11:1 (broadest in middle).
Scutellum: Brown, irregularly punctate, vested with a few pale setae.
Elytra: Basal third red-brown to brown, remainder black, with two yellowish pigmented transverse fasciae (spanning from the lateral margin to mid-way towards suture), with dense white setae; basal third with tubercles and deeply punctate in rows, only rows 3 to 7 extending towards the black part, becoming obsolete towards apex, diameter of punctures larger than interstices, apex densely and finely punctate; basal third with erect, pale and isolated dark setae, black part with posteriorly directed, semi-decumbent, predominantly dark setae; length:width ratio 2.24:1.
Legs: Dark brown to black, base paler, with dense, erect, pale setae; meso- and metatibiae with carinae.
Ventral surface: Abdomen dark brown to black, thorax brown, with few pale setae.
Aedeagus: Very small, tooth-like structures only visible with higher microscopic magnification.
Distribution: Indonesia (Java).
