Length: 11–15mm (10 specimens).
Collecting period: May.
Head: Red-brown to brown, clypeus, labrum and palpi brown; distributed with fine, dense punctation; cranium vested with short, erect, predominantly golden pubescence; head including eyes only slightly broader than anterior width of pronotum.
Antennae: Dark brown to black, A1 to A5 paler, vested with depressed golden setae; triangularly dilated from A5 or A6 onwards, antennomeres generally narrower than in all other Tillicera species ; A10 as long as wide in females, longer than broad in males; A11 conspicuously extended.
Pronotum: Red-brown to brown; surface finely and irregularly punctate; with anteriorly directed erect dark and short golden setae; length:width ratio 1.07:1 (broadest in middle).
Scutellum: Brown to black, finely punctate, partially vested with very dense golden setae.
Elytra: Black, humeral and apical regions predominantly with long, erect, golden setae, posterior black region with loose depressed dark posteriorly directed setae; with two broad, pale pigmented transverse fasciae with dense, depressed, golden setae, the posterior fascia almost reaching the sutural angle; a pale pigmented macula is dilated around the scutellum; disc deeply punctate in regular rows from base towards posterior fascia, diameter of punctures broader than interstices; apex densely and finely punctate, sutural angle slightly emarginated; length:width ratio 2.11:1.
Legs: Brown, with erect golden setae; tibiae without carinae.
Ventral surface: Abdomen dark brown to black, pro-and mesothorax brown, metathorax dark brown to black with dense, depressed golden setae; penultimate abdominal sternite conspicuously emarginated in males.
Aedeagus: With tooth-like structures; parameres at lateral view strongly broadened.
Distribution: India.
