Gamasellopsis Loots & Ryke View in CoL (4 described species)
Movable and fixed cheliceral digits with three and four teeth, respectively. Epistome with an anteromedian extension wider at base, flanked by two pairs of lateral extensions, shorter than anteromedian extension. Seta h 3 about in longitudinal line with h 1 and slightly posterior and mediad to h 2. Idiosoma elongate, 280–410 µm long and 140–230 µm wide at widest level. Podonotal and opisthonotal shields fused, forming holonotal shield, line of fusion indistinct or absent. Dorsal idiosomal setae aciculate. Podonotal region of dorsum with 19–20 pairs of setae, of which 18–19 pairs on shield and a pair on soft integument along lateral margins of shield. Opisthonotal region with 16–17 pairs of setae, of which 15 pairs on shield and 1–2 pairs on soft integument along lateral margins of shield. Seta j 1 not on prominent protuberance, shorter than r 3 and Z 5. Holonotal and ventrianal shields separated. With 1 pair of presternal platelets, fused or not to sternal shield. Sternal shield fused or not to endopodal shield near coxa IV; setae st 3 slightly mediad to imaginary line between st 1, st 2 and st 4. Opisthogaster without platelets between genital and ventrianal shields; with six pairs of setae on ventrianal shield and a pair on soft integument around ventrianal shield; post-anal seta as long as or longer than para-anal seta. Peritreme with straight or smoothly curved margins, extending anteriorly to level of anterior margin of coxa II. Peritrematal shield not fused posteriorly to exopodal shield near coxa IV, with connection behind stigma wider than peritreme. Exopodal shields near coxae II–III–III fused. Without distinct metapodal platelets. All legs with pretarsi. Genua I, III and IV and tibia IV with 12, 8, 8–9 and 9 setae, respectively.
