Type locality and habitat. Ravine des Casoars Wilderness Protection Area, Kangaroo Island, South Australia, Australia, October 1951, on moss of the littoral zone.

Note. Described from misidentified specimens reported by Womersley (1956b: 537) as Digamasellus trägårdhi Womersley.
