Limnophora rufimana ( Strobl, 1893) ( Fig. 55 )

Specimens examined. 1m, Asir, Maraba, Al-Hudaithy Fruit Farm , 24.ii.2012, Malaise trap, H.A. Dawah and M.A. Abdullah ( NMWC); 1f, same data but 1–31.xii.2004 ( CERS) .

Distribution. This species was recorded from Saudi Arabia by Dawah & Abdullah (2009). It was described from Austria. van Emden (1948, 1951) believed that L. rufimana , which were recorded from Sudan and Yemen (Stein in Becker 1922), may have been misidentified, but these records were confirmed by material identified as L. rufimana from Oman by Pont (1991). In Middle East it was recorded from Egypt, Oman, Palestine and Yemen ( Pont 1991).
